Forevermark, the diamond brand from De Beers group of companies celebrated its two years of success in India recently. After the successful launch in 2011, Forevermark has currently partnered with 80 leading authorized jewellers across 13 cities in the country. Forevermark’s journey in India is marked with a huge success and has established itself with an overwhelming response from the consumers.
To celebrate the successful journey till date, Forevermark hosted select retailers in London and Scotland, to celebrate and strengthen the bond of Forevermark’s association with the jewellers. Last year Forevermark had taken the retailers to South Africa for the mine visit and this year saw the second part of the trip, as Forevermark took them to the House of De Beers where the complete journey of a diamond from mines to a ring was explicated.
Flying from across cities, select partners were warmly welcomed in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. CKC, Joyalukkas, Abaran Jewelers, Vummidi Bangaru Jewelers, Orra, Anmol, Hazoorilal, Mahesh Notandas, Notandas & Sons, Notandas Jewelers, Khurana Jewellery House, Bhola sons Jewelers, Sawansukha jewels, Meena Jewelers, Mehta Emporium, Narayan Jewelers, were some of the key retailers that were a part of the tour.
The 5 day journey started with a mesmerizing sightseeing tour of Edinburgh Castle. The journey continued with visits to London Eye, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and the famed museums. The team visited Forevermark at their offices along with a visit to the sorting floor where diamonds from the world over are brought in and gathered for further circulation. During their visit to Forevermark office, Mr Stephen Lussier, CEO Forevermark interacted with the partners over lunch by sharing some interesting facts about the industry. The team also visited Stephen Webster’s display of bridal jewellery in the fine jewellery section of the Harrods store. The journey ended with an evening of champagne and jewels at the Forevermark Exhibition in the Tower of London.
Sachin Jain, Managing Director, Forevermark India commented “As we embark on another year, we thought this would be a great time to celebrate our success together with our esteemed partners in India; The Forevermark jewellers. To commemorate this success, Forevermark organised a trip to London and Scotland to further strengthen the partnership between the brand and the jewellers. This trip was a follow up to a mine visit organised by Forevermark last year to showcase the journey of a Forevermark diamond to our friends. This year we continued the experience by inviting them to the De Beers House where a journey and a story of a diamond was further narrated. We hope that our partnerships move from strength to strength and that we continue to have a fruitful long-lasting association in years to come.”
