- A World Economic Forum initiative, the Global Shapers community is a worldwide network of more than 190 city-based hubs led by young leaders working on grassroots initiatives in their communities.
- Launched at the Summit on Global Agenda, the Dubai Hub will focus on education and will be led by Yasar Jarrar, Partner at Bain & Company and former Executive Dean at the Dubai School of Government.

Dubai, 14 November 2012 – The Dubai Hub of the Global Shapers community was officially launched today by the Founding Curator of the Hub, Yasar Jarrar, a Partner in Bain and Company and a former Executive Dean of the Dubai School of Government, who is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Community of Young Global Leaders.
