Ambiente India and Heimtextil India team up to provide the perfect business platform for this prestigious award
As part of the world’s most notable interior decor and home furnishings trade fair brands, Ambiente India and Heimtextil India have been working on bringing forward the best furnishing and design innovations to Indian interior designers, architects and retailers. Often, the most creative and unconventional ideas comes from the young and behind-the-scene artists of the home fashion industry. Committed to create a platform to promote such young and dynamic professionals, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd. has teamed up with the Guild of Designers and Artists to launch the Interior Lifestyle Awards alongside Ambiente India and Heimtextil India exhibitions in New Delhi.
Interior Lifestyle Awards intend to provide the country’s young, ambitious architects and designers a canvas to showcase their talents and get visibility on the international stage. It is aimed at promoting Indian designers and architects as well as companies with a background in home décor and design with a chance to present their home textile innovations or design concepts at Ambiente India and Heimtextil India, the leading trade fairs for the interior decor and home furnishing industry in India.
Participants can enter simply by submitting their concepts or designs with 3D visuals or photographs of prototype. The contest will be judged by a high-profile panel of jury members including Lipika Sood – President of the Guild of Designers & Artists; India’s foremost textile and fashion designer – Ritu Kumar; and the industry’s acclaimed interior designer, architectural restorer and furniture manufacturer – Sunita Kohli, all of whom will examine creative skills in both home decor and textile categories.
The selected eight finalists will get an opportunity to showcase their shortlisted entries and design at the ‘Experience Zone’ as per the themes laid down by the organisers in accordance with latest home fashion trends. The Experience Zone, characterised by innovative functionality, modernity and sustainability, will be created at the Ambiente India and Heimtextil India trade fairs which will be held from 25 – 27 June 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
For the imaginative, inventive, eccentric and those who challenge convention in home fashion, this is a chance to gain recognition on a renowned platform. Besides showcasing their creative skills to the who’s who of the industry, these young home artists can explore and experience the latest trends and product developments at the fair.
