Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS), the world’s leading maritime and logistics service provider, has been awarded Bengal Tiger Line’s agency in Cambodia.
Bengal Tiger Line Pte Ltd has appointed ISS to represent the company as part of its Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) trades network. Based in Singapore, Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) is a common feeder, carrying up to 900,000 teus per annum across approximately 25 vessels operating from the Far East to the Arabian Gulf with the Indian Sub-Continent comprising its core activities.
ISS Cambodia is now handling the full liner agency function including sales, customer service, operational and accounting requirements for BTL in the country. The new BTL sector is operating for Cross Trade business, while also exploring any traditional common feedering requirements.
ISS’ appointment follows a long-established relationship with BTL and demonstrates its local knowledge of the liner and feeder market in Cambodia.
Sineat Yean is leading the ISS BTL team in Cambodia and will help strengthen SOC business in and out of Cambodian ports.
Eddie Filus, Executive Vice President, Liner, ISS commented: “This additional agency of BTL in Cambodia is a notable achievement that complements the principals that we already represent in Cambodia and proves our expertise in liner agency worldwide. “
