Surrounding the Grand Finale of the Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15 in Gothenburg, IWC Schaffhausen in partnership with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation is auctioning the Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph “Ocean Racer” special edition watch which Ian Walker, Skipper of the IWC-sponsored Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing (ADOR) sailing team and Laureus Ambassador, has been wearing during the race. The highest bidder will be invited to attend the grand finale and prize-giving ceremony from 25 – 28 June in Gothenburg.

 

The auction is conducted by the online fund-raising platform CharityStars until 23 June 2015 on www.charitystars.com/product/experience-the-finale-of-the-volvo-ocean-race-in-gothenburg-sweden-and-receive-ian-walker-s-ocean-racer-watch-en. The entire proceeds from the auction will benefit the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation which uses the power of sport to inspire young people in more than 150 projects in over 35 countries around the world.
