New Delhi, March 20, 2018: JD Institute of Fashion Technology, India’s leading, research-driven Fashion school, with 36 learning centres across India today announced new courses in Fashion Styling and Product Development (Textile) Program for the academic year 2018. Priced at INR 50,000 plus taxes each, the courses are for a duration of 6 months’ and 5 months long respectively.
The work of a Fashion Stylist is at par with the Fashion Designer. A stylist enhances the entire look of the garment by accessorizing it aptly. Fashion Styling:
The course provides a curriculum to become Professional Fashion Stylist and work closely with designers, video makers, photographers and artist in the Fashion Industry. The degree gets students multitude of jobs as a personal stylist, personal shoppers, fashion consultants, TV stylists, corporate image consultants, personal branding coaches, wardrobe consults etc. During the course, students get international exposure to put their learning skills in practical and build their portfolios right from the beginning and get recognized globally.
Product Development (Textile) Program:
The course gives insights on arts from different regions like block printing, traditional hand painting, various handloom sarees and handicraft from different regions of India. This provides a platform for students to begin their career as a product development designer and they can work with various organizations for accessory design and development, as a consultant in interior design field. The course introduces students to a curriculum to create products through design methodology and research process using modern techniques with exploration from a traditional art and craft. It also focuses on the development of design products through market analysis and current scenario of the craft acceptability. The institute is training the students to develop entrepreneurial skills so that they learn the business skills of the competitive industry.
