The Lobster Warriors – a band of brothers who sport the Maroon and Green blood in their veins have been known to organise events that are not only unique but are also in the true spirit of the institution that is the Mohun Bagan Club. To commemorate the Independence Day of the Nation, these supports of the National Club, in remembrance of the historic 1911 IFA Shield win when eleven bare feet native independence warriors had triumphed over their colonial masters have chalked out another one of its kind event.
The Sova Bajar Raj bari will be the venue where the tale of the first Indian footballer to have played abroad will be recounted. The event will also mark the official launch of the Lobster Warrior – Mohun Bagan Gorbo.
