Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has set up mega power projects in the country. It has expanded its manufacturing capability to deliver 20,000 MW per annum of main plant equipments to cater to the increasing requirements of power projects being set up in various parts of the country. BHEL is at present executing various power project orders to the tune of around 59,000 MW (at various stages of execution) in the country of different project developers/ customers/ Utilities (like NTPC Ltd. & its Joint Venture Companies, NHPC Ltd., Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Lalitpur Power Generation Company Ltd. of Bajaj Hindustan, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), Jindal Power Limited (JPL), and in State Sector such as for Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd., Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB), Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGenco), Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd. (KPCL), West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (UPRVUNL), Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RRVUNL) etc.
