The luxury car maker Mercedes Benz is all set to introduce its C- Class Celebratory edition to the car market to celebrate the sale of 10 million units of the series. The new edition of the C- Class, the ‘Celebration Edition’, will be introduced on November 12, 2013. The new edition of the C Class category will be offered in several vibrant colors and variants. It will also be equipped with many advanced features which will surely attract customers and will take the sales figures to a higher level. The price of this car ranges from Rs 27.99 lakhs to 92.72 lakhs (ex showroom price, New Delhi).
The C-Class Celebratory Edition of Mercedes Benz is available in both petrol and diesel models. The petrol models are Mercedes-Benz C 200BE CGI Executive, Mercedes-Benz C 200BE CGI Elegance and Mercedes-Benz C 200BE CGI Avantgarde. The diesel powered models include Mercedes-Benz C 220BE CDI Executive, Mercedes-Benz C 250BE CDI Elegance and Mercedes-Benz C 250BE CDI Avantgarde. High octane petrol run Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG is also going to be introduced along with the other variants. The luxurious four wheeler is available in various vibrant colors including Cavansite Blue Metallic, Palladium Silver Metallic, Metallic Iridium Silver, Magnetite Black Metallic, Tenorite Grey Metallic, Dolomite Brown and Polar White.
The Mercedes Benz C 63 AMG is powered by a 6.3 liter, 8-valve, 6208cc engine which delivers a maximum power output of 457hp. The maximum torque output produced by this engine is 600Nm. The average fuel efficiency achieved by the 1.8 litre petrol engine mated with an automatic transmission is 8.37kmpl in the city and 11.74kmpl on the highways. On the other hand, the average fuel efficiency of the 2.2 litre diesel engine in automatic transmission variant is 11.42kmpl in the city and 14.84kmpl on the highways. The C 63 AMG model can accelerate and reach 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds, which is very impressive. The top speed of this variant is over 250 kmph.
Talking about the exteriors of this four wheeler, this variant is larger, longer and wider than its previous variants. It has a variety of paint and finish options. Executive, Elegance and Avantgarde are the three design and equipment lines. The Elegance infuses elegant looks to the vehicle, while the Avantgarde wears a sporty look. The restyled bumpers beside the fog lamps are round in shape. The vehicle is offered a new radiator grille and daytime running LED lights. It is also equipped with Bi-Xenon headlights, rain sensing wipers and intelligent light system. The exterior measurements of this vehicle are 4591mm in length, 1770mm in width and 1447mm in height.
