Mumbai, 3 May 2015: The Legacy of 18 years of great fashion continued this summer at Silhouettes 2015 – the Annual Graduating Fashion Show of B. D. Somani Institute of Art & Fashion Technology with an aim to celebrate and re-define the rich grandeur of textile heritage and dexterous crafts of our nation the magic of hand-spun treasures in fresh perspective of youthful zest. Each collection was a sincere tribute to significant craft sector across India. Keeping the authenticity of the textile, young designers had re-phrased some of the dying gems of our decorative crafts & loom legacy.
The event was graced by Chief Guest being Ms. Kiran Gupta, IAS- Textile Commissioner Ministry of Textiles and Ms. Anju Modi, leading designer, and Honorary Fashion dignitaries and celebrity designers like Ms. S. Raj Thackeray, Ms. Shaina N.C. Actor Sharad Kelkar among others.
Mrs India 2015 – Queen of Substance Priyanka Khurana Goyal walked the ramp as a show stopper for celebrity designer Shraddha Vora. The outfit that Priyanka Khurana Goyal wore will be auctioned and the proceeds will be donated towards Nepal earthquake relief fund.
