New CEO at LKAB Minerals and changes in the LKAB Group management

Leif Bostrom, currently CFO of LKAB, has been appointed as new CEO of LKAB Minerals. The change will be effective as of 1^st of June 2014. The position of CEO of LKAB Minerals has previously been located in Flixborough, UK, but will now be moved to LKAB Group headquarters in Luleå, Sweden.

LKAB Minerals is LKAB’s subsidiary in the industrial minerals market. The company has a leading position within several product segments and has customers in Europe, USA and Asia. LKAB Minerals has around 350 employees and had a turnover of EUR 192 M in 2013.

Katarina Holmgren, currently Controller Director of LKAB Group, will take up the position as acting CFO of LKAB. At the same time, a recruitment process has been initiated to find a new CFO.
