2ND PHASE OF PUBLIC VOTING OPEN TILL 3RD APRIL, 2016
Mumbai, March 2016: Music lovers from across the globe have shown their support for independent music artists by casting their votes for the first phase of 5th Artist Aloud Music Awards, a property of Hungama. The awards are India’s only Digital Awards for Independent Artists in Music. The first phase received tremendous response from music fans and helped in shortlisting the Top 20 artists along with the jury members comprising of influencers from the music industry who have always greatly supported and acknowledged Artist Aloud as propagator for independent music and independent artists in India. To reflect the transparency in the selection process the jury session was streamed live on YouTube, for the first time.
The second phase of 5th Artist Aloud Music Awards is now inviting fans and music aficionados to cast their vote and contribute to the nominations in the categories of Best Song, Best Male, Best Female and Best Group. The nominees for the open public voting for the final TOP 4 categories are:

Taking it up a notch higher and making this year’s awards unique, Artist Aloud will feature a live performance by all nominated artists across 12 voted categories. The idea is to give artists more exposure to their fans and music lovers get a chance to hear more of their favourite artists and cast their vote appropriately.
Fans can cast their Vote for the Top 20 finalists and choose the best of melodies and soulful tunes by voting on http://www.artistaloud.com/aama. Other categories that will be recognised at the awards are Best Album, Best Video, Best Lyrics, Best Composition, Best Genre, Best International Artist, Best Sound & Best Single (Jury). The grand finale of the awards will be held on 20th April, 2016 at Blue Frog, Lower Parel, Mumbai. The award ceremony will be live streamed through Artist Aloud’s YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter platforms as well as the Hungama app, making it truly a digital extravaganza.
