Chief Strategy Officer of INX Media Pvt. Ltd. until April 2009. Peter was Owner of INX News Pvt. Ltd. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of STAR India at STAR Group Limited until January 2007. He was responsible for STAR’s business in India. He joined STAR in 1993 as Sales Director (India) in Hong Kong and was re-stationed in India shortly afterwards to establish its advertising sales division in the country. He was given additional responsibility for the Middle East market in 1996. He served as an Executive Vice President since 1997 and Chief Executive Officer of STAR India since 1999. Before joining STAR, he worked at DDB Needham Advertising as Regional Group Account Director in Hong Kong and Ogilvy & Mather as Account Director in Delhi and London. Mr. Mukerjea served as Chairman of INX Group. He served as Executive Chairman of the Board of INX Media Pvt. Ltd. until April 2009.
