Perrelet will be one of the protagonists in the 22nd edition of Jewellery Arabia, the prestigious watch and jewelry exhibition to be held from November19th to 23rd in Manama, Bahrain.
Present for the second straight year on the Asia Jewellers booth, the Swiss brand’s local partner, Perrelet will unveil its 2013 new releases to a public composed of professionals and enthusiasts. There will be a special focus on the cutting-edge models in the men’s collections: Turbine Chrono, Turbine and Tourbillon Black & Gold – with the latter thus enjoying an exclusive preview in the Middle East.
Admirably expressing Perrelet’s creativity, the elegant contrast between black and pink gold shades is highlighted in the Turbine and Tourbillon Black & Gold limited editions. On the 44 mm-diameter Turbine model, the distinctive black upper rotor moves across a golden background. Luminous rays light up the surface as soon as the turbine starts to move. The lugs and the center are crafted in solid pink gold. Meanwhile, the prestigious Tourbillon appears housed in a 50 mm-diameter case composed of a pink gold bezel and case-back surrounding a black DLC-treated steel case middle punctuated by a raised fluted motif.
With the Turbine Chrono, the Turbine collection is equipped for the very first time with a complication – in this case the chronograph. The technical characteristics of this mechanism naturally mingle with those of the turbine thanks to a set of unusual superimposed effects, without altering the initial visual impact and aesthetic appeal.
Created in 1992, the yearly Jewellery Arabia exhibition has steadily established itself as the major watch and jewelry event in the Middle East. The last edition welcomed 47,000 visitors and 550 of the most important companies in the field from around the world.
