Experienced mechanical engineering expert to become the new “President” of the Extrusion Technology Segment in the KraussMaffei Group.
“In Peter Roos we have managed to acquire a successful and internationally experienced mechanical engineering expert who has been managing the business affairs of the Finnish-Swiss company Maillefer Extrusion as its CEO during the last four years”, said Jan Siebert, CEO of the KraussMaffei Group. Before he joined Maillefer Extrusion, the graduate engineer (mechanical engineering) held a large number of executive management positions in the Daimler Group for around twenty years, “In his function as “President”, Roos will be responsible in future for managing all activities of the Extrusion Technology Segment in the KraussMaffei Group and therefore the KraussMaffei Berstorff brand. He will also act as Managing Director of KraussMaffei Berstorff GmbH (Hanover). I am looking forward to cooperating with Peter Roos, and would like to wish him every success in these tasks”, said Siebert.
Roos is therefore succeeding Dr. Hans Ulrich Golz, who has held the post of President of the Injection Molding Machinery Segment in the KraussMaffei Group since April 2012. Nicolas Beyl has also been President of the Reaction Process Machinery Segment since April 2012.
