Exclusive opportunity to talk jewellery tips and trends with Middle East experts
Three of the Middle East’s most respected style icons are preparing to share their secrets, jewellery advice and the trends to follow in a new series of workshops exclusively prepared for the Dubai International Jewellery Week.
Instagram star Taim Al Falasi, YouTube sensation Mariam Yasin, and celebrity stylist Rana Saab will each host individual sessions at the four day jewellery extravaganza, running from 7-10 December at the Dubai World Trade Centre, offering visitors a rare glimpse into the influencers’ inspirations and aspirations when it comes to selecting and styling gemstones and precious metals.
With more than 2million followers on Instagram, Emirati style icon Taim Al Falasi has developed a loyal fan base thanks to her insight into travel, family, food and adventure. Her workshop at Dubai International Jewellery Week on Thursday 8 December at 7:30pm will discuss her style inspirations and icons, while she delivers advice to the audience on pairing specific jewellery pieces with outfits for day and evening.
When asked who has influenced her style, Taim said: “I draw inspiration from everywhere, particularly on social media sites such as Tumblr where you get immediate access to a range of fashion, trends, styles and ideas.
“My love of diamonds is as strong as ever – they never go out of style, but right now I love mixing metallic and layering yellow, white and rose gold with each other. Having had a chance to preview some of the pieces that will be on show at Dubai International Jewellery Week, I’m excited to visit the show to try on unique designs that we can’t find in the malls here. I can’t wait to meet other women at the show, share ideas and, ultimately, buy some new jewellery!”
A professional therapist, trainer, wellness blogger and mother of three, Mariam’s YouTube tutorials rack up thousands of views every week. She believes that natural living and the power of the human mind are the keys to true health and happiness and she will run one session each day of the Dubai International Jewellery Week examining a range of subjects to suit every woman’s style and jewellery inspiration.
