New Delhi, 30 September, 2016: Snapdeal, India’s largest online marketplace, today announced its ‘Joy of Giving Week’ campaign in collaboration with Coca-Cola India, the leading beverage company of the country and Intex Technologies, a leading consumer electronics major. As a part of this campaign, customers can go to Snapdeal Sunshine, Snapdeal’s online donation platform, to donate stationery kits to underprivileged children. Coca-Cola India and Intex Technologies will match the donations of these kits up to a limit of 20,000 and 50,000 kits.
The campaign starts from 1st October and runs till 10th October, 2016 and the stationery kits (that include pencils, an eraser, a sharper and a ruler) will be directly delivered to partnering NGOs like Teach for India, GiveIndia, Bhumi, The Community Initiative, Care India, etc; which are actively working for education of underprivileged kids across the country. In addition, Snapdeal, Coca-Cola India and Intex Technologies will also run internal contests, where employees can register in teams and promote the campaign page to drive donations towards this cause.
