According to Mr. Dorji, President, Bhutan Chamber of Commerce, West Bengal is huge market well connected by highways from Kolkata via Siliguri to Phuntsholing, with the main commercial centre connected by air services, at two points at Bagdora and Kolkata. Bhutan has much to offer in terms of business in the service sector mainly in Hydro, Tourism, Hotel etc. Mr. Dorji is also of the opinion that for business from West Bengal, Bhutan has a stable government and clear policy statement that would offer for prospective investment in Bhutan in wide range of business sectors.
