Mumbai, May 30th 2017: Usha International Ltd, one of the leading players in the sewing machine industry felicitated the winner of the ‘NIFT Best Garment Construction Award 2017’ at the convocation ceremony held in Mumbai. The company has been sponsoring this prestigious award since the year 2000 to support and encourage young and budding fashion designers. Every year, Usha recognizes one student from each of the twelve NIFT centers that offer the fashion designing course.
At the event that took place in Mumbai, USHA International felicitated Ms. Ayushi Thakur with its technologically advanced USHA Janome Dream Maker 120 sewing machine, a trophy, certificate and a cash award of Rs. 10,000/-.The garment designs that were created by all graduating students were showcased during the event.
