UAE, November 18, 2015 – Wacom announces the arrival of Ed Neumann to develop and orchestrate the global marketing activities for the Creative Business Unit, the division that focuses on the company’s branded product family of pen tablets and creative pen displays. Neumann brings a proven track record of success in leading sales, marketing and operational organizations in launching innovative technology products and services in global markets. As the Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Creative Business Unit, he will develop overall marketing strategies and plans for the full product life cycle to ensure that Wacom products and programs are customer-driven, well positioned and launched to trigger maximum customer excitement and drive demand.

Prior to joining Wacom, Neumann held leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard during a 15-year tenure focused on product marketing, new business creation and developing new solution/service business models. Most recently, as Hewlett-Packard’s Senior Marketing Director for Global Home Printer Business, he delivered innovative solutions in mobility, social media photo printing and user-experience. While leading the Product Marketing Organization, HP extended their no.1 market position by gaining global share, improving profitability and the customer experience.
Before this, Neumann held the position of Director of Solution Development responsible for HP’s enterprise new business development, spanning 60+ emerging markets, and led the strategy and business development for HP’s New Business Creation Group which built the Halo Telepresence Video-Conferencing business. Featured in Thomas Friedman’s, “The World Is Flat”, Halo delivered groundbreaking ease-of-use, reliability, and an immersive global Telepresence experience. While at HP, Ed was awarded patents in internet services, design/human factors, and semiconductor processing.
Prior to his HP career, Neumann served as Vice President of Marketing at WellMed Corp. (acquired by WebMD). Neumann began his career at National Semiconductor. He holds a MS from Stanford University and a BS from Oregon State University.
