Mumbai, March 08, 2016: Celebrating the occasion of International Women’s Day, YES BANK, India’s fifth largest private sector bank, announced the launch of first three All-Women branches in Kalkaji, New Delhi; Vile Parle (E), Mumbai and Cunnigham Road, Bangalore. Named YES Grace, the branches will be operated exclusively by women employees, including the support staff.
The YES Grace branch will offer customized banking solutions to the evolving financial needs of women. In addition to the core banking activities, the YES Grace branch will also drive regular community engagement to foster financial literacy, family banking, safety and wellness amongst women. While the branch will focus on convenience and assistance for women customers, it will continue to serve all its existing and new customers. YES BANK aims to scale the initiative by opening similar All-Women branches in other major cities.

The launch is an extension of YES BANK’s various women friendly YES Grace initiatives undertaken by the Bank. YES BANK has in the past conducted regular awareness and training workshops on self defence for women executives in association with Ms. Debi Steven, Founder, Action Breaks Silence. Last year, YES BANK also took an important step towards creating a safer workplace for all our executives by reviewing branches across the country with to understand the Climate/Adverse Geographical conditions, Local Law & Order situations, and Safety of staff and branch premises in identified high risk geographies. Basis this, the Bank instituted revised the branch business hours for different categories of branches across the country.
